Description
As you take in the incredible view of the sprawling metroplolis of Barcelona from the rooftops, the eyes of the oddly shaped chimney pots atop La Pedrera seem to watch your every move. Fascinating, intriguing and strangely alluring, these towering ghostly figures of Casa Mila (also known as 'the stone quarry' have been there for more than 100 years and were designed by architect Antoni Gaudi. You can't escape Gaudi's contributions to this fabulous city, his unique works are everywhere and this very famous Spanish son has definitely left his mark. I hand blended textures and a vintage map of Barcelona from 1730 with my original photograph.
