Description
As you take in the magnificent view of the sprawling metropolis of Barcelona from the rooftops, the eyes of the oddly shaped chimney pots atop La Pedrera seem to watch your every move. Fascinating, intriguing and strangely alluring, these towering ghostly figures of Casa Mila (also known as 'the stone quarry' have been there for more than 100 years and were designed by architect Antoni Gaudi. You can't escape Gaudi's contributions to this fabulous city, his unique works are everywhere and this very famous Spanish son has definitely left his mark. I blended textures and grain with my original photograph to compliment the vintage of this classic Barcelona scene.
